Please join Audubon Mid-Atlantic on Friday, February 6th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm as Mark Southerland, Susan Lamont, and other local experts will guide us as we explore Sandy Point State Park as a precursor to our I Bird I Vote Conservation Summit on February 7th. There are several vernal pool sites within this park, which will provide up-close examples of these unique wetland habitats that will be an important topic this legislative session. We'll also leave time for birding!

Anyone is welcome to join for this field trip, whether they are joining us for Saturday's summit or not! Please note there is a park entrance fee of $3/vehicle. 

2:00-2:30 - Arrive at Sandy Point State Park 
2:30-3:30 - Vernal pool viewing and conversation
3:30-5:00 - Birdwatching, attendees are free to wander the park
