They create a culture of conservation in local communities through education and advocacy, focusing on the conservation of birds, other wildlife and conservation of important habitats.
These special places provide opportunities for on-site, outdoor education programs, trails for birdwatching or nature walks, and places where communities can gather to learn, share knowledge, and take action on behalf of birds and other wildlife.
